AR conducts massive plantation drive

Senapati, June 22 2024: Assam Rifles has successfully conducted another large scale tree plantation drive at various locations in Senapati district on Saturday.

The plantation drive was conducted at Maram, Sangkungmai, Senapati, Hengbung and T Khullen villages resulting in plantation of over 2000 saplings.

This tree plantation drive is part of Assam Rifles' on going commitment to environmental conservation and community engagement.

The initiative is expected to have a long term positive impact on the region's biodiversity, soil health and overall ecological balance.
