DCC stages protest against remarks on Ambedkar

Thoubal, December 19 2024: The District Congress Committee, DCC, Thoubal today staged a protest in Thoubal demanding the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his remarks made in the Rajya Sabha on BR Ambedkar.

The protest held outside the gate of DCC Thoubal was led by DCC vice-president, Kh Munindro, general secretary, Y Basant and District Mahila Congress Committee .

Y Basant said that mocking Dr BR Ambedkar, who plays a significant role in framing the Constitution of India by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Rajya Sabha is a direct challenge to the constitution and democracy of the country.
