Imphal, December 19 2008:
Naga Women Union Manipur (NWUM) expressed dissatisfaction over the abduction of NSWON chairperson Salim alongwith her colleague and driver on December 18 at Dimapur.
Maintaining that the incident is unfortunate as it negates the significant progress made from the reconciliation processes, NWUM urged the concerned to immediately release all those who are in their custody safe on humanitarian ground.
The women's body further said that it is unbearable to witness the Naga organisations abducting its own sisters and brothers.
