Imphal, March 18:
Taking strong exception to non-fulfilment of their demands on non-payment if salaries for 5/6 months, non-release of 14 percent DA arrears, non-implementation of pension schemes, creation of chawkidar post and Hindi teachers and non-construction of teachers; quarters, the District Council Teachers' Association, Tamenglong has urged upon the State Government to look into their grievances immediately.
A press release issued by the association also accused the Government of being indifferent to its genuine demands.
