Imphal, September 15 2026: The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Government of Manipur, has informed the public that there will be temporary disruption of water supply in areas covered by Porompat Water Supply due to ongoing maintenance work.

Affected areas include - Ayangpali JNIMS Road.

Old Checkon, New Checkon, Nongpok Ingkhol, Soibam Leikai and parts of Wangkhei Khunou (west side of Soibam Leikai main road).

The PHED has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the public and has sought cooperation and understanding from consumers during the period of disruption.
