Imphal, September 15 2022: A Mandal identified as Md Nasimuddin, posted at SDO Office, Chandel and attached to DC Office, Chandel has been put under suspension with immediate effect.

Deputy Secretary (Revenue) Ph Bhavananda Sharma issued an order to this effect today.

Md Nasimuddin was arrested by police on September 10 and produced before the Court of Duty Magistrate, Thoubal in connection with an FIR case registered at Thoubal police station.

He was remanded to police custody till September 13 .
