Governor plants saplings at Raj Bhavan

Imphal, August 11 2024: In line with "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign, which is the Prime Minister s initiative for environmental conservation, Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya on Sunday planted tree saplings at the Raj Bhavan campus along with emphasising the need to conserve envi ronment, and urged everyone to participate in the campaign and contribute in building human friendly lush green environment around us.

In the evening, the Governor went to Shri Shri Govindajee Temple at Palace Compound, attended the Sandhya Aarti (Darshan) ritual and prayed for restoration of peace and normalcy in the state.
