MSC/CPI to stage protest against Waqf Amendment Act 2025

Imphal, April 11 2025: The Manipur State Council, Communist Party of India (MSC/CPI) is set to organise a State-wide protest against the controversial Waqf Amendment Act 2025 on April 12.Strongly condemning the Act as a targeted attack on a minority community, a press release issued by MSC/CPI also pointed out that CPI general secretary D Raja had filed a writ petition against the Act in the Supreme Court on April 9 .
