Curfew relaxation, imposition continues in CCpur

CCpur, April 09 2025: With exception of five areas, Churachandpur district magistrate has announced that the relaxation of total public curfew will remain in effect daily from 6 am to 5 pm between April 9 and 17 to allow the residents access essential items and services.

The curfew was imposed under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 .

However, the relaxation shall not apply to Rengkai village and V Munhoih in Churachandpur sub-division, where curfew remains in force, as well as the entire Kangvai, Samulamlan, and Sangaikot sub-divisions.
