Imphal, November 08, 2008: All Manipur Elementary School Teachers' Assn, Zone-II organised at Wakat Meepham at Palace Compound today in pursuance of the demand for making education a free zone.

The Wakat Meepham was organised in accordance to resolutions adopted at a joint meeting of student bodies, private schools and other educational institutions on July 5 last.

The campaign is to be launched in all the districts.

As of Thoubal district, it had already been launched.
