Body of man found near Imphal riverbank

Imphal, September 08 2024: Body of a man has been recovered near the Imphal riverbank at Khuman Lampak Youth Hostel section under Imphal police station around 3.45 pm Sunday.

The unidentified body is around five feet in height, with a wheatish skin tone, dressed in a blue and white shirt, white inner T-shirt, jeans, and sandal.

According to police, a team of Imphal PS rushed to the area upon receiving the information about a man lying near the river bank and rushed it to RIMS where doctors declared as brought dead.

A case has been registered in this regard at the police station and the body kept at RIMS morgue for identification.
