Guwahati, October 07 2025: Manipuri Sahitya Parishad Assam (MSPA), Dispur Branch observed Manipuri Poetry Day, 2025 at Shree Shree Radha Krishna Mandir, Megnize, Guwahati today.

As per a press release, the ceremony was graced by Laishram Birchandra, president, MSPA Dispur Branch; Dr Phurisabham Biramani, Sahitya Bhusan Naorem Amuyaima and RK Gourasana as the presidium members.

Four writers from Kamrup, namely, Meisnam Bhagat, Th Shyam, Ng Bijoya and Hidam Dolen were honoured at the event.

Additionally a poetry session was held with Naorem Amuyaima as the moderator where 10 poets from Guwahati presented their works.
