Imphal, October 06 2025: The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Government of Manipur has informed the public that the '450mm Dia Pipeline' carrying treated water to Thangmeiband, RIMS, Lalambung has been damaged at Iroisemba Bridge and repairing work for the same will start from October 8, 2025 .

"As such, normal water supply to the above-mentioned areas will be stopped during the repairing work.

Supply will resume after completion of the work", said PHED in a release.

The PHED also requested the affected consumers to kindly bear with the Department for any inconvenience caused as the works are being taken up in the larger interest of the public.
