Bishnupur, October 06 2024: A wreath-laying ceremony was held today at Anita Standard High School, Kwakta to pay homage to Md Abbash Khan who gave supreme sacrifice for the Nation while fighting militants at Geljang in Churachandpur district.

He attained martyrdom on October 5, 2004 .

The ceremony was attended by Razia Sultana Begum, w/o martyr Abbash Khan and family members Sh Parbhat Saini, Dy Commandant and other ranks of 32 Bn CRPF.

A framed photo of the martyr was also handed over to his family on the occasion.
