Assembly passes allocations of ₹3269 cr

Imphal, August 05 2024: The State Assembly approved total of Rs 3269,96,04,000 for seven demands of various departments, which were discussed during in Monday's session.

The demands including Rs 24,67,93,000 for transport department, Rs 1974,72,48,000 for public works department, Rs 19,50,21,000 for information and publicity, Rs 44,74,97,000 for co-operation, Rs 7,05,50,000 for printing, Rs 89,95,38,000 for fisheries and Rs 1109,29,57,000 for social welfare department were presented for approval.

Despite opposition members proposing cut motions on these demands, they were ultimately passed after deliberation in the house.
