Imphal, December 04, 2008:
Urging for early completion of District Council delimitation, early election of District Council members and fixation of pay and allowances including extension of pension to Members of District Councils, the Manipur Hill Areas Autonomous District Councils MDC's/Ex-MDC's Welfare Association has decided to impose economic blockade on both NH 39 and NH 53 in case the demands are not fulfilled on or before December 15 .
