Imphal, June 03 2024: A 28 year old man was found dead inside a plot of land located to the southern side of Khumbong Mamang Leikai Veterinary office, Imphal West district under Patsoi police station.

The deceased has been identified as Lairenlakpam Khemananda (28) s/o late Chinglen of Khaidem Mayai Leikai.

Some people came across the dead body this morning and they informed the police.

After inquest by a team of forensic science experts, police have deposited the corpse at RIMS mortuary.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
