Ex-MLA inspects flood affected areas

Imphal, June 02 2025: Former MLA Dr Khumujam Ratankumar on Sunday inspected the banks and the current water level of Manipur River flowing through Mayang Imphal AC.

Dr Ratankumar, also a former minister, inspected the banks at Ningombam, Laphupat Tera Dhaballo, Uchiwa Wangbal, Uchiwa Awang and other banks of the river.

Speaking to the media during the inspection, Dr Ratankumar assured to extend all possible assistance in taking up necessary measures to prevent flash floods in the areas and appealed to the people to remain extra-vigilant.
