CRPF conducts rescue Ops

Imphal, June 01 2024: Troops of 143 Battalion CRPF, under the overall command of Commandant Ravinder Sharma, carried out rescue operation in flood-affected Nagaram village in Imphal East on Thursday.

During the operation, 30 individuals, including 15 men, 11 women, and 6 children, who were isolated in their homes due to heavy flooding, were rescued and safely shifted to a relief camp.

Second in-command of the battalion Nandakishore Singh and D/C Amaree Prasad also took part in the operation, according to a statement of 143 Bn CRPF.
