The Zingsho Mapithel Katamnao Long (ZMKL) has conveyed gratitude to the officials of Veterinary Department Ukhrul for inspecting the villages of Lungpha, Marou, Shingkap
and Shingta on May 29 in Mapithel region where mysterious diseases have claimed many cattle recently.
According to a release issued by ZMKL joint secretary, Worngam A Shimray, the veterinary officials during their visit have diagnosed some cattle being infected with a disease called 'Black Quarter' and have provided necessary
medicines besides giving vaccination to many livestocks.
Meanwhile it also informed that ZMKL is organising a one-day consultation on 'Unity in Development' at
Tangkhul Avenue Imphal on June 10 at 11 am.
During the consultation programme, Lecturer of Pettigrew College Wunshim Angkang and Lecturer DMC of Arts Lucy Jajo
will be felicitated, it added.
