Imphal, February 01 2009: Conveying that Zeliangrong Union and Zeliangrong public after much deliberation have decided to shift the State level Lui Ngai Ni 2009 celebration to some other places from Tamenglong headquarters, Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland) has said that the union would not allow any organisation to organise the festival at Tamenglong headquarters.

Saying that there are some factors which make the Zeliangrong people unable to host the said festival at Tamenglong headquarters, the union said that it is unfortunate to learn that the officials of UNC had requested the concerned authority to release fund for organising the festival at Tamenglong inspite of ZU's best effort to avoid any ugly scene.
