Assam Rifles destroys bunkers at Loiching ridge

Imphal, November 30 2024: Acting on specific information on presence of adhoc bunkers at Loiching ridgeline, in Imphal West district, Assam Rifles launched an operation on November 25 during which the team discovered and destroyed three adhoc bunkers existing on the heights overlooking the valley.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that these bunkers were likely being used as launch pad to carryout subversive activities.

AR has been providing close protection to farmers of all communities carrying out harvesting of the paddy in the fields, it added.
