Imphal, June 30: Expressing serious concern over the ultimatum served on Works Minister K Ranjit by the proscribed PREPAK, the Hunphun Katamnao Long (Ukhrul Students' Union) has appealed to the outfit to withdraw its threat on the Minister.

In a statement, the student body said that K Ranjit on assuming the charge of Works Minister has initiated numerous developmental programmes in the hill districts to bridge the gap between the hills and the valley.

The Minister should be given free movement to over see the implementation of various works initiated by him, added HKL.
