Imphal, August 30 2025: No leave should be granted to any police officer, personnel from September 7 to 14 except on extreme emergencies, the Director General of Police has instructed all Superintendents of Police and Commanding Officers of MR and IRB .

The restriction except in case of extreme emergencies has been put in place due to "exigencies of duty during the period", said the DGP's instruction.
