Annual Sports Meet begins

Imphal, February 27 2026: The Annual Sports Meet of St George High School, Wangkhei, commenced today, inaugurated by Thongju Assembly Constituency MLA Thongam Biswajit.

The event is scheduled to continue until March 2 .

The inauguration ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including Prof Akoijam Ibohal, Head, Department of Plastic Surgery, RIMS; Rev Fr James Tangshel, Director, CMC Hospital & College of Nursing, Koirengei; and Sister Binda, Principal, St George High School, Imphal, along with school teachers.

Students have been divided into four houses - Yellow, Red, Green, and Blue - to compete against each other in various athletic events.
