Thoubal, August 22 2024: Recent heavy rainfall has caused flooding in many areas of Khangabok under Thoubal district and left locals battling untold hardships.

On top of flooding the paddyfields in Khangabok, homes in Khangabok Part I, II and III have been inundated.

Specifically, around 100 homes near the river bank in the vicinity of Khangabok Bangshibodol Road (close to Lai Haraopham area) have been greatly affected.

In view of such pitiable conditions, meira paibis of Khangabok Part I, II and III have urged the relevant department to provide help to the flood affected people.
