Bishnupur, October 21 2024: A one-day awareness programme cum screening for prevention and control of deafness was held today at Khoyol Moirang Lamkhai Relief Camp.

The camp was conducted by the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Deafness, District Health Society, Bishnupur under the NPPCD, National Health Mission, as per a press release.

Dr Suraj Naorem, DNO, NPPCD Bishnupur and his team screened 60 patients in the camp to detect, prevent and control hearing impairment.
