Imphal, April 18 2026: Decrying the bomb attack and CRPF firing which took the lives of five people in total, Film Forum Manipur (FFM) staged a sit-in protest at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai Community Hall yesterday.

Separately, Meira Paibis from Khurai Lamlong to Takhel also staged sit-in protests along Tinsid Road.

At Keishampat, members of Film Forum participated in the protest and condemned the bomb attack and expressed solidarity with the victims.

Mourning the death of three civilians, the Forum further raised concerns about protesters being injured in the reported firing by CRPF personnel.
