Imphal, July 15 2026: The Manipur University Students' Union (MUSU) has condemned circulation of pamphlets under the name "Local Guardians Surrounding Manipur University" inside the university campus.

In a statement, MUSU said the pamphlets allegedly circulated by the "LGSMU", an unregistered body of unknown origin, has stirred trouble and maligned the image of the Manipur University.

Urging all concerned against circulating such pamphlets in the future, MUSU also appealed to the MU authority to swiftly complete a recruitment process initiated in May 2025 .
