Imphal, January 15 2025: Please refer to the news item under the heading "JNIMS eyes to give free blood to kids below 12" published on January 15 issue of this paper.

It is hereby clarified that "free of cost" mentioned in the body of the news should be omitted.

Charges for blood may apply.

While easing procurement of blood for children between 0 & 12, the scheme will provide the replacement blood.

The inadvertent error is deeply regretted.
