AR pays tribute to fallen hero at Maram

Senapati, September 14 2025: A solemn wreath laying ceremony was conducted at Assam Rifles war memorial at Maram on September 12, 2025 to honour the supreme sacrifice of Rif(GD) Beizo Mero who laid down his life while combating insurgents on September 12, 2005 at Joupi, Manipur Wreaths were laid on behalf of all ranks remembering the supreme sacrifice of the soldier.

A one minute silence was also observed during the ceremony.

The event was a solemn reminder of his unwavering commitment and selfless service to the nation.
