Imphal, October 13 2024: Some unidentified persons lobbed a grenade at a shop of social media influencer RK Ichanthoi at Tera Akham Leikai under Imphal police station at around 8 pm today.

According to information culled from the spot, two unidentified persons came on a two-wheeler and the pillion rider lobbed the grenade at the shop before speeding away toward Naoremthong.

Soon after, a team of Imphal police station arrived at the scene and retrieved the bomb which failed to go off.

It is said that a case has been registered at Imphal police station in connection with the incident.
