Jiribam, June 10 2025: A 13-year-old girl was found hanging in Jiribam's Kashimpur Muslim village today.

The deceased minor has been identified as Ruhina Begum, daughter of Islam Uddin.

She was found hanging near a rubber farm near her house at around 1 pm.

After receiving a report about the incident, Jiribam police rushed to the scene and took stock of the incident.

A family feud is suspected behind the alleged "suicide", according to the locals.

Police are expected to launch an investigation to ascertain the cause of the death.
