Thoubal, October 07 2025: Members of VDF Welfare Association Thoubal District handed over a sum of Rs 2,50,000 from District VDF Welfare Fund to the wife of deceased VDF personnel Khundrakpam Shoken Singh yesterday, as per a statement.

Kh (O) Premila Devi received the sum at the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Thoubal.

The late VDF personnel passed away on September 26 due to an illness.

He is survived by his wife and two children, one son and daughter.

The aid initiative was carried out under the supervision of SP Thoubal Shivanand Surve (IPS) .
