Imphal, October 06 2025: To commemorate the 293th anniversary of burning of the Puyas (ancient chronicles of Manipur), Puya Mei Thakhibagi Apunba Ningshing Lup (PUMANIL), Kangleipak will be observing the "Puwarigi Amamba Numit" at Yumnam Kesho Singh Community Hall, Naoremthong on the 17th day of Manipuri lunar month of Mera, which falls on October 8 .

In a release, PUMANIL Kangleipak appealed to all the people to consider the cultural significance of the Day and refrain from organising/participating in any form of entertainment activities such as 'Lila, drama and Housie' .
