Imphal, August 05 2026: The Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) has informed the public that power supply to the 33/11 KV Khoupum Substation has been disrupted following the collapse of a double-pole (DP) structure on the 33 KV Rengpang-Khoupum transmission line near the old Rengpang Substation.

In a statement, MSPCL said the damaged transmission line cannot be charged until the affected section is fully repaired, resulting in disruption of electricity supply to areas served by the 33/11 KV Khoupum Substation.

It further stated that restoration work has already commenced and is expected to be completed within 20 days, subject to favourable weather and site conditions.
