CRPF conducts rescue operation

Imphal, May 31 2024: Troops of 143 Battalion, CRPF have rescued 30 people from flood affected Nagaram village, Imphal East district on Friday.

According to a release issued by CRPF, the rescue operation was conducted under the overall command of Ravinder Sharma, Commandant, 143 Bn CRPF.

During the operation, 30 persons including 15 men, 11 women and 6 children, who were isolated in their home due to heavy flood were rescued and shifted to relief camps.

Nandakishore Singh, 2 IC and Aamaree Prasad, D/ C also took part in the operation.
