Moreh, August 30 2024: Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya went to Moreh today and reviewed the security situation of the border town as well as Tengnoupal district.

He also held a meeting with leaders of CSOs on the current crisis and other issues at the 5th Assam Rifles' battalion headquarters.

After the meeting, the Governor inspected the Integrated Check Post, Moreh, Indo-Myanmar boundary, the relief camps opened at Moreh Higher Secondary School and the 5th Assam Rifles' KLP.

After inspecting the Indo-Myanmar border fencing, Lakshman Prasad Acharya interacted with BRTF officers who briefed the Governor about the progress of the fencing works.
