Jiribam, December 28 2011: The Jiribam Development Organisation (JDO) has flayed the alleged excessive conduct of Imphal East police commandos deployed in the name of counter insurgency operations.

It rued that even leaders of civil organisations were picked up and detained by commandos on the false charge of having nexus with UG groups.

It demanded withdrawal of police commandos from Jiribam at the earliest, reports our correspondent.
