Imphal, August 28 2025: Security forces arrested a 31-year-old drug peddler travelling on a Dimapur-bound Tata Winger, yesterday.

Yunush Khan, a resident of Irong Chesaba Mayai Leikai, was found possessing 2.022 Kg of WY tablets during frisking by the personnel of Senapati police, 109 Battalion of CRPF and 16 Assam Rifles.

The accused was produced before the Court concerned by Mao police , and the prosecution prayed for police custody remand under the ND&PS Act for further investigation.

The Court, after hearing the submission and perusing the case records, remanded Yunush Khan to 6-day police custody till September 2 .
