Imphal, December 27: As in the previous years, this year too Christmas was celebrated jointly by people belonging to different communities at Maram Bazar.

The celebration was participated by traders, shopkeepers and stall owners based at Maram Bazar.

People of different ethnic groups like the indigenous tribes, Meiteis and non-Manipuris celebrated with much joy and mutual love.

The opening session of the celebration graced by MLA K Raina and Col VS Malik of 22 AR featured volley ball matches for boys as well as girls.

After the sports and carol/ music session, the celebration culminated with a joint feast at Maram Bazar.

In the evening, fashion parade and beauty contest added more colour to the celebration.
