Tamenglong, June 27 2026: The Nallong Students' Union, Manipur, has expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the State Government for the commencement of the road construction work from Kuilong-I to Nallong in Tamenglong district.

In a statement, the NSU its appreciates CM Yumnam Khemchand Singh, Tribal BJP senior leader Lungphakbou Newmai, civil society organisations and all individuals involved in initiating the construction work.

The union stated that the road would serve as a lifeline for Northern Liangmai in particular and the Liangmai community in general, urging authorities concerned to maintain quality in the construction.
