Imphal, April 26 2026: A huge quantity of Talab found concealed among urea bags in a truck was burnt by people at Moirang Lamkhai today.

The truck was travelling from Imphal toward Churachandpur.

As many as 43 packages of Talab were found inside the truck during checking by locals.

The packages of Talab were then burnt at the traffic island.

Police later arrived at the scene and then a commotion ensued afterwards with the crowd preventing the police from taking custody of the urea bags.

Police resorted to firing tear gas shells to disperse the crowd.
