TB elimination awareness programme held in Thoubal

Thoubal, June 24 2026: As part of the National Tuberculosis (TB) Elimination Programme, the District Health Society Thoubal and District TB Control Unit, Thoubal, jointly organised a sensitisation programme at Nongpok Lourembam on Tuesday with the objective of spreading awareness and strengthening efforts towards eliminating TB from the district.

The programme was attended by District TB Officer, Dr Y Sameen and District coordinator Th Stefee as resource persons.

As part of the programme, Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials carrying messages on TB prevention and control were also distributed to the people.

The programme was also attended by ASHA facilitators of the district.
