Imphal, January 21 2009: Coming alive to a razzmatazz oif cultural activities, the Ist Aimol cultural meet, 2009 was held under the aegis of Aimol Tribe Union, Manipur at Kharam Thadou village today.

The event was attended by CN Aimol and president of Aimol Trine Union, Manipur Athoi Bongty as chief guest and functional president respectively.

Secretary general of National Identity Protection Committee (NIPCO) Sunil Karam, AMSU president Khamba Laishram and Khupler Kom were also present at the occasion as special guests.

Those who spoke at the occasion stressed on protection of the cultural elements of the various groups of people living in Manipur.
