Imphal, March 20: Imphal East police commandos retrieved a loaded truck which was hijacked by unidentified miscreants today at about 5.30 pm from near Huidrom said a source and added that the truck was rescued while the police team was on patrol duty at Keibi Heikak Mapal area.

The hijackers fled on seeing the police team, said the source and added that the vehicle (AS01/F/2571, Om Carrying Corporation) was transporting clothes, cycle parts, electronics goods, surgical kits, toys, footwear etc.
