Imphal, January 20: The Naga Students, Union, Chandel has warned that if the transfer order of Dr Kh Aishek, CMO in charge of Chandel is not stayed within three days time, then it would launch a series of agitation including closing down the CMO office and suspending all medical services.

In a statement, the student body said that despite its petition to the Government not to transfer the CMO on October 23 last year, the Govt did a volte face and transferred the said officer on January 16 this year as DMO Tamenglong.

Any untoward incident should be borne by the Department concerned, it added.
