Please refer to the editorial published under the heading "June of 2002 and the reality of today" on Page 4 of the June 18 issue of this paper.
It is hereby clarified that the year in which the incident took place, including the signing of the Bangkok Declaration and the subsequent protest that ensued in Manipur, should be 2001 and not as published.
The inadvertent error is deeply regretted.
