Seized liquor destroyed at Kangpokpi

Kangpokpi, May 15 2024: The Excise Enforcement Team of Sapormeina, Kangpokpi destroyed Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and Distilled Indigenous Country (DIC) liquor at Sapormeina Excise Station today.

The seized liquor (3579 litres of DIC liquor and 99.17 litres of IMFL) which were destroyed and set ablaze today was worth Rs 4,11,302 approximately, said a press note by the Officer In-charge, Sapormeina Excise Station.

The liquor was destroyed in the presence of Kangpokpi District Police, media personnel and the public.

The liquor was confiscated by the Excise Enforcement Team and Police Department of Kangpokpi district.
