Imphal, August 14 2024: Unknown armed persons shot and injured a 32-year-old man identified as Saikhom Robinson son of Rajen of Chalou at Sabungkhok Mayai Leikai Khongnang Makhong, under Lamlai police station, Imphal East this afternoon.

The incident happened at around 1.45 pm.

Saikhom Robinson was shot on the left calf.

Sources said Robinson was brought to Sabungkhok Mayai Leikai Khongnang Makhong by unknown persons in a Santro car before shooting him on the leg.

Robinson is undergoing treatment at JNIMS Hospital, Porompat.
